Hi and welcome!

This is a place for ramblings, stumblings, surpirses and learnings about everything food embedded into life.  Food has always been woven into the background of my life (good, bad or indifferent) and I believe everything comes back to good food, good conversation and good drink.  

My love of food started with my Italian grandmother whose homemade pasta, meatballs and sauce never failed to comfort.  Now, I’m a soon-to-be New York University MBA graduate (at 41!) and hopeful I will be able to put my degree (and me) to work…..soon! 

I’m not exactly known for my cooking, but I do enjoy it and love to learn, and more importantly, love to eat!  I like to try new recipes and share my thoughts. Oh, and I do love my California red wines!  I’ve recently discovered a love of Italian reds so I feel like I might be cheating on my first love…I suppose there’s room in my heart for both.

But enough about me, what about you?  Do you love to cook, love a good glass of wine, or just love to eat?  Share your stories, recipes, memories and do it for the love of eat!
